Theodore Davis, P.E.
Mr. Davis is a Senior Vice President and Principal of Southwestern Environmental
Consulting, Inc. He is a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer in the State of Texas.
His long and varied experience in environmental and chemical process engineering provides
Southwestern with a unique perspective on projects. Drawing on Mr. Davis' experience with
the refining, chemical and petrochemical industries, Southwestern is better able to
interpret the complex processes creating environmental concerns.
Prior to his affiliation with Southwestern, Mr. Davis was a private environmental and
engineering consultant to the energy industry. In addition, he has been employed in the
management, process design and engineering staffs of corporations such as Zinder Energy
Processing, The Norwegian Oil Corporation, Virgin Islands Refinery Corporation, Foster
Wheeler Corporation, The Lummus Company and Bechtel Corporation. This engineering
experience included four years in London, England working on projects in Europe and the
Middle East. In addition, Mr. Davis supervised the preparation and negotiation of all
environmental permits for a major "grass-roots" refining project.
Mr. Davis provided direct on-site oversight and supervision of a $70 million Superfund
site in Texas. He personally supervised engineering, construction and startup of the
bioremediation system at the French Ltd. Superfund site. He has experience working with
engineering contractors, PRP Groups, and construction contractors.
Mr. Davis is a Certified Environmental Specialist and is a member of the Environmental
Auditing Roundtable, Environmental Assessment Association, and American Institute of
Chemical Engineers.
