Steve Credeur
Mr. Credeur is a Vice President of Southwestern Environmental Consulting, Inc. Prior to
joining Southwestern, Mr. Credeur was the President of LSC Environmental, Inc. and LSC
Transportation Services, Inc. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and has
over forty years of experience in the environmental, safety and transportation fields. Mr.
Credeur has provided consulting and training services to industrial and commercial clients
throughout the United States.
As President of LSC Environmental, Inc., Mr. Credeur provided consulting and training
services in environmental, safety, employee and community right-to-know, transportation
and related areas. He assisted clients in developing OSHA mandated training programs for
employees exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace. He wrote site specific health
and safety plans, established and implemented safety programs, developed confined space
entry programs, performed OSHA and DOT type audits, performed driver log audits and
prepared and submitted transportation fuel tax reports.
Mr. Credeur was instrumental in developing the procedures and regulations that govern
hazardous waste transportation in the State of Louisiana in conjunction with the Louisiana
Department of Environmental Quality. He has never received a U.S. DOT fine or penalty at a
transportation operation that he managed. His safety and transportation training have
resulted in substantial savings to his clients including lowering of their workers
compensation insurance modifiers.
Mr. Credeur is a member of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, American
Society of Safety Engineers, Houston Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers and
the Texas and Louisiana Motor Transport Association. Mr. Credeur is a Certified Hazardous
Materials Manager and has attended numerous courses on safety, environmental and
transportation topics.
